Meet Tiny! Tiny broke his leg 3 weeks ago, and his owners could not afford veterinary care for him. They felt that the best option to end his suffering would be to shoot him! When the rescue heard about this, we rushed right to his rescue. He had a vet appointment today where radiographs showed a broken humerus in his front right leg. Initially, the vet felt that surgery was warranted in his leg, and his surgery was scheduled. The day of surgery, he was put under anesthesia and more radiographs were taken. The vet felt that Tiny's leg was healing on its own, and said that surgery was not a good idea.
Tiny may always have a limp in his front leg, but our vet thinks that he will use that leg again. Right now, he is settling into a foster home getting all of the love and care he deserves. Tiny seems to get along with dogs (he currently lives with one big dog and one small dog in his foster home). He does not mind cats, but would do well in a home without small children. He is housebroken, and loves attention. He loves to sit on your lap and have his ears stroked.
