Hi my name is Abby. I am about 1 to 2 year old lab mix and I am on the small side weighing only 23 pounds. I was in a High Kill shelter in Georgia and I heard them say that I wasn't going to make it out and that the vet was on their way. They liked me so much but had already given me more time than most and that it was such a shame but that they could not hold me any longer.:( Well miracles do happen. The angels at A Buddy for Life saved me. Wow was I lucky!!!!!
My foster mom thinks that I am best best little dog in the whole wide world. Mom said she has never met a nicer dog than me. I like all the other dogs here and I even like cats too. I am fully potty trained and am very good in the house. She says that I am so quiet and I never ever bark. Guess that I would fit in most any home. I sure am hoping I will find the best home where I can feel safe and never have to worry anymore. Did I tell you that I am learning to play ball and though I like to play I never tear anything up and I like everyone that I meet. So hopefully my special family will adopt me soon.
