Jack is a 3 year old Maine Coon mix. We named Jack after the skeleton in the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas. Jack was left behind after his family moved. He was outside trying to fend for himself, going from door to door looking for a kind person to feed him. One of these nice people called us for help, and when we arrived, Jack was in bad shape. He weighed a measly 6 pounds (1/2 of what he is now!), was full of fleas and ticks (we stopped counting ticks after number 40!) and horribly matted. After we shaved him and fed him, we let him settle into his foster home. What an absolute love he is. He lives with other cats, three big dogs, and a 2 year old child. He does great with all of them! He also loves to sleep in bed with his foster mom and cuddle. Once his hair grows back in, he will be even more beautiful than he already is!
