Sam is a wonderful puppy. He is a pretty mellow guy, considering he spent most of his life in a shelter. He has quickly adapted to all the activity in the house. We finally stopped to realize that he knew nothing about living in a house, from sounds like a vaccuum, to the routine of an active family. He has done amazingly well. His foster brother and sisters are doing a great job teaching him about going to the bathroom outisde and about the joys of playing. He is quite the snuggler and loves belly rubs. He is a little tentative when leaving the house, but once outside, sets about exploring his environment. He seems to enjoy car rides, but he needs reassurance that he isn't going back to 'that' place and that he is safe. He has the most adorable and unique markings. He enjoys playing with his foster sister, Cassie.
