Poe finally arrived here in Delaware on November 11th. He is a 6 month old purebred black lab puppy. Poe is extremely sweet, and submissive, wanting nothing but love and kindness and reassurance that he will be safe from harm and loved and cared for. He was saved from a bad situation in Ohio, and was moved to a veterinary boarding facility, but then developed a bad case of kennel cough which turned into pneumonia, due to an outbreak at this facility. Poe has bounced back, and is happy and healthy and very waggy butt now that he is in his foster home. He is very much underweight, and needs to gain back the weight he lost when he was sick. He is going to be receiving a lot of extra love and pampering, after all he's been though, while he awaits his new forever home, which I have promised him he will have before the holidays roll around.
