Maverick came to us from a shelter in North Carolina. He had to wait in boarding for awhile until we could get a foster home for him to go to. He actually was adopted out but was just returned to us, the family was not as prepared for a new dog as they thought they were, so we will need to find him a new home. Hopefully, this time it will be his forever home. Maverick is good with other dogs and a sweet and loving boy. Maverick has Alopecia X which is something seen in breeds like Chows, and is not something that requires treatment. He is currently in a new foster home and getting settled in.
Here's what Maverick's foster mom has to say about him: Maverick loves to play with stuffed animals. He is great with other dogs and very affectionate with people. He loves to snuggle and put his head in your lap. He is very GENTLE. He is completely housebroken. Maverick loves to ride in the car! He wants to be with you all the time (but no separation anxiety--I just mean he will be your shadow--he actually pokes his head into the shower when I'm in there --I guess just to make sure I'm still there!). He is good with children, but smaller children scare him at first.
Maverick is an all around great dog who would love to have a family to call his own. If you are interested in Maverick please fill out an application.
