This sweet girl was owner surrendered to a shelter in North Carolina. She recently had puppies and the owners found homes for the puppies and then turned this poor mom into the very high kill shelter. Because she was an owner surrender she is first on the list to be euthanized. The dogs at this shelter are euthanized on a weekly basis. Her time was up today and we were able to get her out of there just in time. In order to save her will will have to board her. Boarding is $12 a day and because we do not have enough foster homes, the dogs are usually boarded between 2-4 weeks. We desperately need more help! Please help us by sponsoring her.
It is very hard for us to continue to work with this shelter because we don't have enough foster homes for the dogs to go to. We cannot continue to build up boarding bills. We have been working with this shelter since April and do not want to turn our backs on them. The dogs deserve better, it is not their fault that they are not given a chance there. Please consider becoming a foster parent today so that we can help these poor souls.
We will be starting a Save A Life Fund in order to help more of the dogs from this shelter. Our only way to save these guys is to board them until we can get them here. Having more foster homes and more people willing to adopt black dogs would help us get them here faster! We will use contributions to the Save A Life Fund to save the dogs who don't have a chance at making it out alive.
