Elijah, or Eli for short, is a 1-2 year old Yellow Lab. This guy is full of typical lab enthusiasm! He loves to stretch his long legs in the back yard, and may be a water dog. He is very inquisitive of my bath tub, so much so that I think he may jump in before long! He loves to snuggle in bed at night, and will put his head in my lap at nighttime when I am working on the computer. He is content to just be near his humans. He gets along great with my other dogs (one female and 3 males). We are currently working on his leash manners, as I don't think anyone has taught him how to act appropriately on a leash before. He is a quick learner, and is catching on fast. He is also very skinny (you can see all of his ribs!), an unfortunate side effect of living on the streets for so long. We are currently feeding him the appropriate amount of food and he should start to gain his weight back in no time. If you are interested in meeting/adopting Eli, fill out an application now.
