Poor Eclipse has been shuffled around a lot. His owner moved and did not take him with her. She was going to take him to the SPCA, but a friend decided to help and took him in. Unfortunately, this person wasn't able to keep him either and he was spending his days in the back of a pick up truck and nights outside all alone. Again he was going to be taken to the SPCA. He now is in a foster home getting the attention and love that he deserves, but he needs a family to call his own. He is about 6 years old and is great with everyone, he currently lives with several small children and even a cat. He is also good with other dogs. He is housetrained and does not get into anything when left alone.
He is a big boy at almost 100lbs. He does need to lose some weight. Unfortunately, he has hip dyplasia which is common in large breed dogs. Our vet has suggested that we do pain management for him for now. He also seems to have allergies and developed a "hot spot". He has been treated for that and is now on a prescription diet.
