Dax is about 4 1/2 months old. He was owner surrendered to us because his family could no longer care for him.
Dax, whose full name is Dakota, is a precious little guy. He is in a home with four big black lab mixes and, now that he is comfortable around them, is entertaining to watch interact with them. He is curious about kitties but not in a mean way. He loves to dive onto my sofa and crawl under and behind my big pillows. He's learned to drop the plush dog toys behind the sofa so the other dogs can't get to them. He LOVES water, and has learned to lick the drops coming from the tub faucet. He'll even stick his head in the shower while you're trying to have some quiet time and get his head wet. Dax is crate trained and will hold it in all night without any accidents in the crate. His previous owner taught him many of the basic commands. He's a bright, adorable little fella who just wants to be loved and have a new, safe, forever home.
