Buddie is a sweet boy who was given up by his owners when they moved and couldn't take him with them. To make matters worse, he was found to be heartworm positive while in the shelter. Treatment will cost us between $200-$300. Please consider sponsoring him for his treatment so that we can continue to help the dogs like Buddie. He can be adopted after his treatment, he will just need to have little activity during recovery.

His luck changed when he found his way to A Buddy for Life. He was so sad when he first arrived. His ears were covered in scabs from insect bites, he had very little energy and wanted to just lay around. Some TLC and a visit to the vet has turned Buddie into a new man!

He loves to play with the other dogs in his foster home and his tail finds more reasons to wag with every passing day. We discovered that he loves to chase squirrels and kick back with a good rawhide! He is completely housebroken and has good house manners.
