America was surrendered to a very high kill shelter along with her 5 puppies. Another rescue took the puppies and the volunteers that we work with at this shelter asked if we could help the momma. She will be boarded until we can get an open foster home for her. They saved her on Sept 11, and decided to name her America. We have been told that she is such a great girl and very sweet. Unfortunately, she has tested positive for heartworm and will need treatment. Please consider sponsoring her for her treatment. We want to be able to continue to help the dogs in need like her.
America arrived from North Carolina and is getting settled into her foster home. We will post more about her soon.
