Pippy, short for Pipsqueak, is a fun loving playful little girl.
Someone bought her hoping that she would become a rabbit hunter, but
Pippy had other ideas. She isn't a hunter, she's a lover! The man who
had her put her in a rabbit hutch in the back yard and advertised her
for sale for $150. We couldn't let poor Pippy go to just anyone. The
area where she came from is notorious for hunting beagles, and we were
afraid if someone bought her, they would try and breed her because of
her size. If she would have been bred to a larger male, it would have
spelled disaster for her. Thankfully, two of our volunteers stepped up
and put the money together to buy her so that we could save her life,
and get her a wonderful home where she will be spoiled and loved.
She will be spayed on Thursday, August 20, and available for adoption
shortly afterwards. She is housebroken and non destructive when left
alone. We have not tested her with cats or children yet, but will be
soon. Her foster mom does not anticipate any issues with either because
of her even keeled personality. She currently lives with three big
dogs, and boy can she hold her own!
