Cheddar is a loving, beautiful, intelligent, loyal and lovable fella. He is the complete package all rolled into one. He has never met anyone he does not love. He showers those who are lucky enough to meet him with kisses galore, and loves some belly and butt scratches in return. People have overlooked him for two years now, simply because he is a pit bull. He is not a monster. He is a gentle soul, who is deserving of love, attention, and his forever home. Meet Cheddar. See what a pit bull is all about. Give him a chance to change your mind and your heart.
Update March 10, 2010 - Cheddar is back to his old self. He just graduated from Wilford Dog Training Academy and is ready to find his forever home. He is a very spunky guy and deserves a family of his own!
Cheddar is a beautiful, active guy who needs a home where someone can play play play with him! He loves attention, and loves to give big kisses.
January 12- Cheddar needs emergency surgery! He ate a toy and now it is stuck in his intestines. He will die without this surgery! A Buddy For Life, needs help to save his life!! Please consider making a donation to help offset this $3000 surgery!!! All donations are tax deductible. Update: Cheddar had surgery Tuesday night, and a piece of rubber toy was removed from his intestines. He was in bad shape, and needed a plasma transfusion as well. He is doing much better today, and may be able to come home on Thursday. Special thanks to Harford Veterinary Emergency Center in Bel Air, MD, for helping our guy! Donations are still desperately needed to help offset this cost! Jan 14-Cheddar is now home with us and resting comfortably. He is starting to feel like his normal self again. We were able to save Cheddars life by covering the cost of his surgery on a credit card. Now we need your help to help us pay off that credit card! Please consider making a donation!
*Please note, all pit bull adoptions require that applicants own their home, and live within a 3 hour drive from Delaware. Exceptions to this rule can be made at the discretion of the rescue.*
