Lily was surrendered to a shelter when her family could no longer afford to feed her.  She is a sweet girl but is very nervous with new people.  She will need a family who understands this and will give her the time she needs when meeting new people.  She does warm up and bonds to her family if you go slow with her, but every new person is like starting over.  She is energetic and very smart so obedience training would be perfect for her (in home training).  She does well with cats in her foster home.  Because previously she may not have been fed properly she does have some food aggression with the other animals, not people.  We are working on this with her,  but we always recommend feeding separately anyway.   If you are looking for a sweet girl who needs proper guidance and you are willing to give her the time she needs to feel comfortable please fill out and application and we can set up a meeting.  abuddyforlife.org
