Bernie is about 7 years old.  He was surrendered to us when his family lost their home.  He is a great, laid back guy. He is good with other dogs and cats. He is house trained and crate trained.  He really just wants someone to hang out with.  He is a little on the chunky side so would benefit from walks.  He does have a couple nervous issues so small children might not be best for him.  He is terrified of thunderstorms and getting his nails cut.  He really does want to please his owner and would make a great companion dog for the right owner.
