Holly Belle is a sweet, shy girl who was rescued by a kind Samaritan from a less than stellar owner. Once rescued, she got loose and the rescue spent over one month trying to trap this sweet girl. After many worrisome nights, making sure the area where she was sleeping had blankets and making sure she had something to eat, she was finally rescued with the help of Animal Care and Control. Holly Belle is initially shy, but likes to be petted and shown attention. Having other dogs in her foster home has really helped to boost her confidence, and so we would like to see her go to a home with at least one other dog. Holly Belle is loving, yet still cautious but realizing that humans can be trusted. Holly Belle is housebroken and loves to play in the backyard with the other dogs, both male and female. She also doesn't mind cats. Small children will be too much for her due to their activity and loudness, so a home with older dog and savvy kids is preferable.
