Oliver is a big-boned orange & white tabby with a great big heart. Like the orphan in the Charles Dickens novel, Oliver was abandoned downstate with a group of other cats who were left to fend for themselves. A kindly elderly lady took care of them and Oliver eventually found his way to A Buddy for Life. He is 4-5 years old, initially shy (until he gets to know you), playful and very affectionate; he sometimes “chirps” when he is very happy to see you! He has a great appetite and enjoys being petted and brushed. He gets along very well with other cats and dogs. Oliver tested negative for Feline Leukemia but positive for FIV, which is not transmitted to humans, but can be passed to other cats. For that reason, Oliver should be the only cat in a home, or with other FIV positive cats.
