Pixie is a 2 year old Beagle mix who was given up along with her sister and her sisters puppies when her owner could no longer care for her. Pixie has spent the last year of her life outside, chained to a dog house. She is new to the rescue, and is settling into her foster home, where she is enjoying the freedom from her chain. She is reported to be good with other dogs and cats. She is a bit startled by young children and new people, so we are looking for a home for her with older children. She loves to run, now that she if off that dreaded chain. She needs a home with a fenced in yard to stretch those legs in! When she runs around the yard, you can see pure glee in her eyes. We will be getting to know her better in the coming days, and will also be getting better pictures of her soon. You see, she was so excited to be off the chain, she would hardly sit still!
