Emmie is a sweet little girl who found herself stray. When no one came looking for her, the nice lady that found her contacted the rescue for help. Emmie is an older girl who we believe to be about 10 years old. She does not mind other dogs or cats. She seems to be housebroken--she is currently living on a farm where she sleeps in the barn at night--and has only had one accident. We don't know how she would be with children, but due to her age, we think she should go to a home with older children who know how to be respectful of dogs. Emmie needs a foster home or forever home! Please contact Jenn at jenn@abuddyforlife.org if you would be willing to foster this girl until a permanent home can be found!

Update July 2010--Emmie has moved into a foster home. After getting a much needed bath, she is currently receiving the TLC her senior body needs. She has a urinary tract infection we are treating with antibiotics--but other than that, she is content to go for small walks and lay around in the air conditioner all day. Can you give a sweet senior girl a place to lay her head?

Emmi is a nice little girl who does well with all people, cats, and other dogs. She especially likes to be around other dogs her size. She really enjoys taking several short walks a day, and walks well on a leash. She is calm, agreeable, and mild mannered. The only time I have ever heard her bark is in the morning, when she wants to go out to the bathroom. She is Soooooooo cute!!!!!!!!
