Hi! My name is Timmy and I am a 2 year old lab mix. I have been with A Buddy For Life for about 6 months now. My foster mommy keeps telling me that special people will find me soon, but I am starting to think that I will never have a home of my own. I was running stray when I was picked up and taken to a shelter, and so I do have some baggage to unpack. I can be a bit shy, and am picky about who I play with. Children frighten me, and so I defend myself the only way I know how--I growl. I like some dogs, as long as they don't pick on me. I am housebroken, but my foster mommy crates me when she is not home because I do become a little anxious when I am left alone, and she says that I am safer in my crate when no one is here. I recently graduated from a 2 week training course at Wilford Dog Training Academy. Boy did I have fun! I learned how to sit, stay, come, and many other commands. I am a real people-pleaser, but sometimes need to be reminded of my manners. I am looking for a wonderful home without children, and maybe another dog--preferably a submissive female--where I could continue to work on my training, and gets lots of belly rubs! Oh boy are they my favorite! I do love to sleep with my foster mommy at night and cuddle---I just wish I had my own special person to keep warm!
