Rex is a 1yr old Lab mix. He has had a rough life in that short year. He was running stray with his momma and sister, scavenging for food and living life on the mean streets. They were finally caught and taken to animal control, where we saved Rex when his time was up. Unfortuantely, his momma and sister weren't so lucky.
Rex is a good natured, sweetheart of a boy. After he gets to know you, he greets you with lab enthusiasm when you get home. He loves to stretch those lab legs of his in the backyard and run with the other dogs. He is leery of people he doesn't know. Once you feed him a few treats though, and show him that you will not hurt him, he will be your best friend. He is completely housebroken, and great with other dogs. He curls up with my female lab mix at night.....I think he misses his momma! Will you give Rex the stable, patient, loving home enviornment that he yearns for?
