Major is a very affectionate, sweet and easy-going 3 year- old fella. He loves food, giving kisses and snuggling, and going for a couple of good walks each day. Major was a hit at his foster parents' 4th of July picnic- everyone in the family really enjoyed him because he was so friendly.

Major would be perfect for an individual or family who is looking for a moderately active and well-behaved dog that they can spend a lot of time with. He doesn't need constant stimulation like some breeds, but he does prefer company. He follows his foster Mom everywhere, always wanting to be near her.

Major's size is great. Being closer to the size of a beagle, he is more of a small medium. So, he may appeal to people looking for a small to medium sized dog.

Major is good with other dogs and kids. He probably wouldn't be happy with any rough handling or screaming as he is a very gentle boy. He is healthy, housetrained and up to date on his shots.
