Julie was found as a stray in terrible condition. She has a puncture wound on her shoulder and it's possible she was hit by a car because she looks like it is painful for her to walk. We will be doing xrays to find out exactly what we need to do for this sweetheart. She is shy, but very loving. I am so glad we were able to get her out of the shelter before her time was up. She is a perfect example of the babies that we need to help.
Update December 28, 2007:
We did xrays and it looks like Julie has a bad hip. We are waiting to hear from the specialist to see if surgery is the right thing to do.
Update January 15, 2008:
We had a consult with the surgeon today and the estimate for Julie's surger is $1500. We cannot schedule it until we have most of the money raised. Please consider sponsoring her so that she can get the surgery that she needs and be on her way to recovery and the life she deserves.
