Dempsey is about 18 months old could be an Aussie/Golden or Aussie/Border Collie mix. We was chained up at his house with his buddy and they received no food or water for days. Their chains kept getting tangled up. Finally, a neighbor stepped in and was able to take the dogs into her care.
Once away from their owners, this poor boy was hit by a car and almost shot instead of taken to a vet. A local rescuer got involved to save this sweet boy. It turns out that the neighbors who originally helped the dogs were the ones who hit him trying to teach him a lesson to stay away from cars!
Dempsey has made a full recovery from being hit by the car. He was in shock and had some road rash that had to be stitched up but nothing serious. He is a sweet, loving boy and deserves a life of safety and love. If you are interested in adopting this sweetheart please fill out an application.
