Miley came to us from a neglectful situation. She was rescued with her puppies but not all of them made it. She came to us with 3 of her puppies, who of course were adopted right away. She is about 1 1/2 to 2 years old. Unfortunately, our sweet Miley girl was heartworm positive and has gone through treatment with our vet. She has been recovering in her wonderful foster home. Miley has now been in her foster home for five months, recovering from heartworm treatment. During that time she has made terrific strides. She loves toys and can frequently be found surrounded by them. She is energetic and playful. Miley is cautious with new dogs, but absolutely loves her foster brother. They play and wrestle all day long. She is now comfortable going on short walks and actually gets excited when the harness comes out. She can still be shy at times, but her confidence has definitely grown. She would do best in a home with older children. Miley is the sweetest girl. She is looking for a patient, experienced dog owner to help her continue on her journey.
