Need to Rehome your dog or cat?
We try to do our very best to help every animal that we can. Unfortunately, because we are a small all volunteer group, we are not able to take in every animal right when we are asked to. We do not have a shelter, we rely on foster homes. If we do not have any available foster homes we will still try to help by listing your dog as a courtesy posting on our website.
Email ALL of the follow information to rehome@abuddyforlife.org
- Name, age, sex, breed
- Medical information, ie, is the dog/cat up to date on all shots, is the dog/cat spayed/netuered? Is the dog/cat on heartworm/flea tick prevention, any other medications, any medical conditions?
- How long have you had the dog/cat and why are you no longer able to keep it? How long do you have before the dog/cat will need to be placed somewhere else?
- Please give us a detailed description of the dogs/cats temperament, does the dog/cat have any behavioral issues?
- Is the dog/cat good with others? Include if good with cats, dogs, children.
- What is the activitly level of the dog/cat?
- Please note any details that we would need to be aware to be able to place the dog in the right home, ie, jumps fences, is shy or timid, other.
- What contact information would you like included in the courtesy listing for your dog/cat?
- Is it ok to forward this information to other rescues that we work with to see if they are able to assist?
- Include atleast one photo
The more information supplied to us the better we will be able to assist. Once we receive this information we will be in contact with you to discuss how we can help.
