|  I live in Kansas now with a mom and dad, got to keep one of my foster moms as my "Aunt" and I have a little brother I can play with in the backyard for hours! Plus, snow is SO cool :) Live is good. |

'Goober' is a totally appropriate name for this big lovable oaf! His favorite activities include sleeping in a tightly curled ball next to his people, chewing on footballs, having long conversations in whale-speak with anyone willing to chat, and gently play wrestling with other people and dogs. He is house and crate trained, still thinks he's lap dog, and while he has great big big floppy lips he's really not a drooler...He's great at dog parks, likes to chase and return squeeky balls, lets you take toys and food from him, and loves to walk (though he is strong and has a long gate so an adult who likes to jog would be his ideal walking partner).
Goober knows how to use a dog door and would really prefer to have a fenced-in yard so he can come in and out as he pleases. He enjoys playing so a house with another dog or a older child who wants a play buddy would be ideal - he is submissive 99% of the time so he should fit in well with most other pups.
For now, he resides in Raleigh, NC but if you're in DE/PA/Etc. and have a real desire to meet and try out this fabulous big man we'll find a way... Goober's dad is in the military long-term and a broken engagement left him with no place to go while dad is overseas for the foreseeable future so he came to us in search of a stable forever-home. Could he be right for you?
