| Our luck sure has changed, we hit the doggie lottery! We went from a bad home, to a shelter, to a foster home and now we finally have our own family! You would not believe how we met our Mom - oh yeah, did I mention we got adopted together? We've had each other through all the rough times & now we can finally rest, together, in our forever home. We have a huge yard & our very own Mom to love us. Okay, back to meeting our Mom. She saw us in the newspaper, looked us up online & came to to see me (Star) at a meet & greet & that day, just by chance, my sister Hope came along! Our Mom fell in love with us right away. She went home, filled our application out & the rest is history. It was a long wait, but our Mom, she sure was worth the wait! We were told, good things come to those who wait, that sure is true. It was meant to be, we think. Our worries are finally gone. No more wondering when we would have a permanent home, no more thinking about what happens if we don't find a home together, those days are gone & never to return. The only thing we have to worry about now is when our Mom will come home & love us more. Thanks for giving us a loving, stable home Mom. Our prayers have been answered. Our search is over. We can start healing now. Hope & Star |

Hi, my name is Star! Me and my sister Hope, who is in some of my pictures (who also has her own feature page) are both looking for an excellent home. We are both 2 year old spayed females.
We have had a tough life so far but we are yearning for a different future. Our first home neglected us. They tied us outside & just left us there to fend for ourselves in all types of weather. We did the best we could but the flies were so bad during the summer they ate away some parts of our fur. One day some nice people came to our house and rescued us. Were we even on a TV show called “Animal Cops Philadelphia”.
Since we were rescued we have been in the Pennsylvania SPCA. Our stay there has been long since we truly want a home together and were told that is difficult to find, so that is why we can be adopted together or individually.
Recently, we have gone to a foster home. We were very frightened in the beginning. We never experienced home life so we were not familiar with the normal sounds of a home. It took us about a month to get into the flow, but we are still a little shy.
We have learned a couple of things since being in foster care like ‘easy’ when taking food, ‘sit’ and we are working on ‘wait’ & ‘shake’. We will get the hang of it real soon because we are quick learners!
Let me tell you all about ME-- I love running, trying to catch bugs out of the air, hugs, kisses, other dogs to play with & sleeping in a comfy bed is my favorite by far. I'm not much of a morning dog. :)
I get along well with dogs & love to play & wrestle with them. I have met cats but I'm pretty scared of them since I don’t have any experience with them. My foster Mom thinks I would do better in a home with bigger children.
I am a beautiful & faithful companion. I promise if you give me some time, love and a stable home environment, I will be an exceptional addition to your family. Please consider me!
I’m wishing on a STAR that me & my sister will find a terrific home together! We would love a home together, but can be adopted individually.
