 | Boo BooHello! My name is Boo-Boo. I am an 8 year old Pit Bull mix. I was given up by my owner because her landlord said that she could not have me in her apartment. I don't understand why because I never did anything wrong. I am a wonderful guy who likes to play with other dogs--both male and female. I am having a fun time playing with my foster mommys dogs. I am housebroken and love to go on car rides! I love children too!
Please look past my breed(my foster mommy told me that some people are afraid of dogs like me--and I don't understand why--I have never met someone I didn't like!) and come meet me and see what a fantastic personality I have. I am a sweet easy going guy who needs a good retirement home to live out my golden years in. |

Black Dog Syndrome
Black dogs, particularly large black dogs like Labradors or Lab mixes, have a very difficult time getting adopted, and are euthanized at a staggering rate at many animal control facilities throughout the country. The sad truth is, they are overlooked in favor of lighter colored dogs. This is why we try to take in as many black dogs as we can. Please don't overlook our wonderful black dogs, they need you!
