Our first Yappy Hour Event was a success!
Our first Yappy Hour fundraiser was held at The Exchange on June 28th, a marvelous new bistro located on the 900 block of downtown Wilmington. Over 85 people attended this event to eat, drink and bid on silent auction items to show their support for our organization and Diamonds for Dogs. "The Stubbie", a margarita with a splash of Ruby Red, was our signature drink for the evening and was quite a hit. A terrific variety of items were on display during the silent auction including dog beds, toys and treats for large and small dogs; tickets to the Delaware Theatre Company; tickets to Opera Delaware; services from an area veterinarian; a private dog training session; jewelry; a pet portrait session; a wooden carving of a bulldog; and a basket of hair care products were among the many items available for bidding. Approximately $2,400 was raised at this event.

More food, drinks, silent auction items, and a good time will be on the agenda for the evening, to raise even more money for A Buddy for Life, Inc. and The Diamonds for Dogs Foundation. Get in the holiday spirit with us, and bid on items that will make great holiday gifts at our Holiday Yappy Hour on December 6th!
