Special Foster and Forever Homes urgently needed

We have a few heartworm positive dogs that need to get into rescue right away. Currently, the only available foster home that could take these guys already has several foster dogs. The dogs that are going through heartworm treatment need a more calm environment to recover in. It is really easy to care for them, they only need to have their activity level restricted. Please consider helping these poor babies have a chance at a happy, healthy life like they deserve.

Lemonade- Heartworm Positive, Looking for her Forever Home!

Lemonade was in a shelter in North Carolina and was rescued by one of the volunteers there. She was placed into boarding so that she could be saved. Unfortunately, Lemonade has tested positive for heartworms which makes it harder for her to find a rescue, but luckily for her we have no problem with taking in the heartworm positive dogs. Lemonade is a very sweet girl and despite being older she still has a lot of energy. She is a very happy girl and would love to be with her own family for the holidays. She wasn't taken care of very well before, she was not spayed and appears to have had puppies recently, who knows how many litters she may have had, and obviously was not given heartworm preventative. She deserves to start over in a new family who will love and keep her safe for the rest of her life.

Lemonade has started her heartworm treatment. The cost of her treatment so far has been $400. Please consider sponsoring her so that we will be able to help more dogs like her in the future.

Half Pint- Heartworm Positive, Needs Foster or Adoptive Home

Half Pint is in a shelter in North Carolina. She is Heartworm positive and cannot be treated in the shelter. They have asked us if we can help. Right now we do not have a foster home available for her. Half Pint got her name because she is so low to the ground. She is so adorable and cute! She is also very affectionate, she is a lap dog. She weighs only about 30 pounds and is very gentle. She walks great on a leash and gets along awesome with other dogs. If you would like to help her by fostering her or are interested in adopting her, please fill out an application now.
